This Detection Paper is used for Screening test of total bacteria regulated by food Sanitation Act in Japan. In order to find out the number of total bacteria, you can multiply the number of red colonies appeared on the paper by the below mentioned coefficient respectively, which we estimate the number of total bacteria in 1g or 1 ml .

In case of water inspection, the number of red colonies  1
In case of food sumple the number of red colonies  x 30
In case of instrument, container or fingers the number of red colonies  x 40
